The Association for Progressive Communications (APC) launches its third edition of Global Information Society Watch (GISWatch 2009) on Monday November 16. The report section Bulgaria has been coordinated by BlueLink as the Bulgarian member of APC in cooperation with Access to Information Programme (AIP).

Structural Funds Team for Sustainability (SFTeam) 2009-2011

The Charles Stuart Mott Foundation announced approved financing for a new period (June 2009- June 2011) of the work of SFTeam, which includes 6 Central and Eastern Europe partner organizations (including BlueLink) and Milieukontakt International from the Netherlands.

Together is better - developing an efficient network for volunteering

In September 2009 started a CEE Trust-funded project for enhancing the communication and cooperation between institutions working with volunteers and people willing to volunteer throughout Bulgaria.

Sustainable Development and Usage of Information Technologies – Greening IT

Since August 2009 the globally active Association for Progressive Communications (APC), which has BlueLink as its Bulgarian member, has been elaborating a campaign to foster the environmentally friendly development and usage of information technologies, or “greening” ITs.

Online Platform for Citizens’ Signals for Combating Illegal Logging

The project, funded by the Balkan Trust for Democracy, addresses the grave problem with intensive illegal logging and accelerated extinction of Bulgarian forests by developing and supporting a functional online platform, allowing citizens to send alerts for illegal logging.

SF team for sustainable future

The long-term goal of the project is to ensure that regional development policy in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe is based on the principles of sustainability. The duration of the project is from January 1, 2008 till June 30, 2009.

Better Knowledge about the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in Bulgaria: the Right to Know about the Risks. Public Support for Elimination of the Global Threat

March 2007 - April 2008 The general aim of the project is to raise public awareness and provide information about environmental and human health problems, caused by POPs (generated in domestic burning processes), through a national information campaign and through multiplying the effect of the campaign by trainings and capacity building activities for strategic target groups (NGOs, media, local authorities).
